What We're All About.
What is TMR all about?

Teen Mental Reset Inc. is a Public Charity Organisation under IRS Section 501(c)(3).
We educate teens to deal with mental and emotional issues. TMR works to find a and proper way of communication. The goal of TMR is to help educate teens through their emotional and mental struggles. Our purpose is to increase awareness and remove the stigma surrounding mental and emotional health.
With its roots in personal extended family situations and the pandemic era, Teen Mental Reset Inc. will help you understand some of the many aspects of mental and emotional well-being. We work to make sure you are never alone in your struggles to learn about the issues you or others may face.
We know that not everything can be resolved, but everything you learn and share with proper help will make you feel lighter. Find a safe and healthy way to deal with the struggles you or others may have.
Let’s join in and raise awareness to talk freely about mental health.
Nira Goyal
I am a high school student and an advocate of Mental and Emotional Health. Seeing mental health issues in my personal extended family, issues I see as a teen myself in school and amongst other teens, and the impact of the pandemic on mental health, I started Teen Mental Reset Inc.
My hope is to help the community with the services and activities through this not-for-profit.
The pandemic changed everyone’s life in so many ways. Mental health issues for teens related to the COVID-19 crisis were significant and in some ways immediate and unavoidable. The psychological toll of COVID-19 among adolescents is enormous and long-lasting.
The pandemic had made not only me, but many feel isolated. Mental health issues had also been seen in cases such as mass shootings in schools.

I am working hard to find ways to discuss the issues that impact teens’ mental and emotional health. No one questions if we discuss or seek help from a professional on physical issues, mental and emotional issues should be no different. Everyone needs to understand it is ok not to be ok and it is ok to seek help when we need to. Sometimes, it is with a trusted adult such as a parent or a teacher, and sometimes it needs the help of a professional in mental health care. Teen Mental Reset’s mission is to help teens find a way to feel more comfortable in discussing and helping themselves and others in the community on issues of mental and emotional health.

Promote Awareness
I strive to promote awareness about mental health issues affecting adolescents and teenagers.
Reducing Stigma
I do not believe in succumbing to stigma. A diagnosis does not determine who you are or what you can do. Let us work together to create a stigma-free society for mental health!
Help others
I want to bring people to a platform where they feel at ease and willing to ask for help.
Create Self Efficacy
I want everyone experiencing mental health issues to become proactive and implement protective factors like regular physical activity, effective communication, better sleep habits, and many more topics that I will be discussing.
